The June Lake Loop area has been dubbed the "Switzerland of California." We had a hard time following the trail at the top for the loop back; near the June Lodge. Good amount of shade and nice breeze so definitely one to check out. Would highly recommend just going out and back. Follow the dirt road past the upper lodge all the way down till you come to the first right you can take, a dirt road following utility lines.
